Ovoid vase in smoked blown glass with subtle pinkish metallic reflections. The material, freely worked while hot, forms a pinched tripod base, an irregular neck with an almost "jagged" rim, and long undulating "tears" seeming to flow from the neck, accentuating the organic and fluid character of this vase.
The polychrome enamel decoration, Japanese-inspired, consists of florets, ribbons, and fans adorned with floral and geometric motifs reminiscent of Japanese fabrics. The whole is enhanced with gilded highlights and metallic effects that enliven the glass surface and emphasize the material's relief.
Several vases of comparable shape are known today, of varying dimensions. However, they are consistently distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each example a unique work.
