Flat tripod vase in translucent emerald green blown glass. The flattened body features a deep circular indentation at its center. Several elements are hot-worked, including the base, the neck stretched with tongs, and the glass cabochons applied to the body.
The vase is adorned with a rich polychrome enamel decoration of Far Eastern inspiration, composed of flowers and leafy branches interspersed with ribbons evoking floral-patterned fabrics. Metallic effects and delicate gilded highlights complete and enhance the composition.
Several vases of comparable shape are known today, in varying sizes. However, they consistently differ in glass color and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each example a unique work.
Condition: Good condition
Signature: Signed on the reverse, under the piece: "A Jean".
