Small flattened tripod vase in translucent blue-green blown glass with metallic reflections and gilded highlights. The body features a deep circular indentation in the center of its main face. Several elements are hot-worked, notably the base, the neck stretched with pincers, and the glass cabochons applied to the body.
The vase is adorned with rich polychrome enamel decoration of Far Eastern inspiration, composed of flowers and leafy branches, multi-shaped cartouches, ribbons, and fans acting as supports for floral and geometric motifs evoking traditional Japanese textiles.
Several vases of comparable form are known today, of varying dimensions. However, they are consistently distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enamel decoration, making each piece a unique work.
Condition: Good condition.
Signature: Signed under the piece, in red enamel "AJean".
