Tripod pear-shaped vase in translucent pink smoky glass for the body, adorned with hot-applied elements. The base consists of three feet, each extending into a thin undulating "rib" running over the body up to the neck. Two vertically stretched handles are joined at their top by a gripping knob. On either side of the body, hot-worked "tears" seem to flow along the wall. These different elements give the vase a profoundly organic character. The vase is decorated with a polychrome enameled decoration of Far Eastern inspiration, executed with great finesse, composed of medallions supporting floral motifs.

Several vases of comparable form are known today, but each is distinguished by the color of the glass and/or the composition of its enameled decoration, making each example a unique interpretation of the model.

Condition: Good condition despite a chip.

Signature: Signed under the vase, in red enamel: "A.Jean."
