Tripod globular vase in orange translucent blown glass. The shape is enlivened by several elements worked and applied hot in green glass: the base, the neck and the glass "tears" that seem to flow from it, as well as three thin undulating "ribs". Between each of these ribs, small depressions made in the glass, evoking small "navels". The vase is adorned with a rich polychrome enameled decoration of Oriental inspiration composed of tulips, saz palmettes and carnations, borrowed from the repertoire of Iznik earthenware.

Several vases of comparable shape are known today, but each is distinguished by the color of the glass and/or the composition of its enameled decoration, making each example a unique interpretation of the model.

Condition: Good condition.

Signature: Signed with a hot-applied pellet under the vase: "AJean".
