Tripod globular vase, in translucent blue glass. Numerous hot-worked elements include the crenelated rim, the base, the three undulating "ribs" extending from the feet to the neck, and the glass "tears" that emerge and flow down the body. These applications, enriched with metallic effects and gilded highlights, accentuate the organic nature of the material and give the surface a particularly dynamic animation.

The body is adorned with polychrome enameled decoration of Japonisme inspiration, composed of foliage, ribbons, and cartouches containing geometric patterns evoking traditional Japanese textiles.

Several vases of comparable form are known today, with varying dimensions. However, they are consistently distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each piece a unique work.

Condition: Good condition.
