Small tripod basket in translucent rose gold blown glass, with metallic reflections, highlighted with golden touches. Several elements are worked and applied hot: the base, the neck and the "tears" of glass that seem to flow from it, as well as the handles, whose ends meet and merge into a culminating knot. The basket is adorned with a polychrome enamelled decoration of Japanese inspiration, composed of butterflies evolving among leafy and flowered branches.

Several baskets of comparable form are known today, of varying dimensions. However, they are consistently distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enamelled decoration, making each example a unique work.

Condition: Good condition

Signature: Signed on the reverse, under the base, in enamel: "AJean".
