Small, flattened tripod vase made of translucent blue blown glass with metallic reflections and gilded highlights. The flattened body features a deep circular indentation in the center of one side. Several elements are hot-worked, including the base, the neck stretched with pliers, and the glass cabochons applied to the body.

The vase is adorned with a rich polychrome enamel decoration of Far Eastern inspiration, consisting of flowers and leafy branches, multifaceted cartouches, ribbons, and fan supports with floral and geometric motifs reminiscent of traditional Japanese fabrics.

Several vases of comparable shape are known today, of varying sizes. However, they are systematically distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each example a unique work.

Condition: Good condition

Signature: Signed beneath the vase in red enamel: "A Jean."
