Small piriform tripod vase in translucent smoky blown glass, amber-colored with metallic reflections and gilded highlights. The structure is enriched with several hot-worked and applied elements: the base and the neck stretched with pincers. The vase features a discreet polychrome enameled decoration in a Japonisant style with a fan, butterfly, and flower motif.
Several vases of comparable shape are known today, of varying dimensions. However, they are systematically distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each example a unique work.
Condition: Good condition
Signature: Signed on the reverse, under the piece: in red enamel "A. Jean".
