Pair of globular tripod vases in translucent blown glass, ruby red with metallic reflections and gilded highlights. Several elements are hot-worked: the base, the neck stretched with pincers, and the small undulations that animate the lower part of the body.

The vases are adorned with a polychrome enamel decoration of Japonisme inspiration, composed of floral motifs, cartouches, and ribbons supporting floral and geometric motifs reminiscent of traditional Japanese textiles.

Several vases by Auguste Jean adopt this same form, but each is distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of its polychrome enamel decoration.

Condition: Good condition.

Signature: Missing signature.
