Four-footed jardinière with flattened sides, in translucent blown smoked glass with olive green-brown tones, the base, "tears" and neck, hot-worked, showing subtle metallic reflections. These applications give the material an organic character. The surface is adorned with a rich polychrome enameled decoration of Japanese inspiration, combining flowering branches, butterflies, ribbons supporting floral and geometric motifs reminiscent of traditional Japanese textiles, as well as a fan.

Several jardinières of comparable shape are known today, of varying sizes. However, they are systematically distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each example a unique work.
