Small flattened quadripod jardiniere, made of translucent smoked blown glass in an amber color, enhanced with blue glass elements that are hot-worked and applied: the quadripod base, the neck, and the "tears" of glass that seem to flow from it. The contrast between the two glass colors and the hot applications give the object an organic character. The surface is adorned with a rich polychrome enameled decoration of Far Eastern inspiration and consists of various flowers mixed with leafy branches, highlighted by numerous gilt details and metallic effects.

Several jardinieres of comparable shape are known today, with varying dimensions. However, they consistently differ in the color of the glass and the composition of their enameled decoration, making each example a singular work.

Condition: Good condition

Signature: Signed beneath the vase, at the pontil, in red/brown enamel "A. Jean".
