Large tapered tripod vase with a triangular base, in translucent blue blown glass, with metallic reflections and gilded accents. Several elements are hot-worked and applied: the base, the neck, and the "tears" of glass that seem to flow from it.
The vase is adorned with a polychrome enamel decoration of Far Eastern inspiration, executed with great finesse, consisting of flowers, leafy branches, ribbons, and multi-lobed cartouches supporting motifs reminiscent of traditional Japanese textiles.
Several vases of comparable shape are known today, but each is distinguished by the color of the glass and/or the composition of its enameled decoration, making each example a unique interpretation of the model.
Condition: Good condition
Signature: Signed on the reverse, under the vase, with a sticker "A Jean".
