Footed bowl, or tripod horn vase, in translucent amethyst blown glass, with golden metallic reflections and gold highlights. The piece features extensive hot-working, particularly on the rim, base, and the "tears" of glass flowing down the body of the vase. These elements accentuate the organic character of the form. The surface is adorned with a polychrome enamel decoration of Japonist inspiration, combining flowering branches, ribbons, large flowers reminiscent of traditional Japanese textile motifs, as well as fine small-link chains.

The shape of this work is particularly unique, as no other comparable example has currently been identified.

Condition: Good condition.

Signature: Signed on the reverse, under the base, in red enamel: "A. Jean".
