The body is adorned with a \u003cstrong\u003egilded and silvered Japonisant decoration\u003c\/strong\u003e with a few rare touches of colored enamel. It consists of butterflies and flowering branches, \u003cstrong\u003eevoking the aesthetics of Japanese prints\u003c\/strong\u003e. The decoration, deliberately partial, leaves large unadorned glass spaces, highlighting the transparency, the nuances of the material, and its \u003cstrong\u003eorganic\u003c\/strong\u003e nature.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSeveral vases by Auguste Jean adopt this same form, but each is distinguished by the color of the glass and the composition of its enameled decoration.
