The vase is adorned with rich polychrome painted decoration of \u003cstrong\u003eneo-Renaissance\u003c\/strong\u003e inspiration, composed of circular medallions featuring female profiles, whose figures, dressed in Renaissance fashion, stand out against \u003cstrong\u003eyellow backgrounds punctuated with small geometric and floral motifs\u003c\/strong\u003e. The medallions are framed by bands of leafy scrolls.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith the exception of the two earthenware lampshades known today, this chandelier is, to date, the \u003cstrong\u003eonly identified lighting fixture\u003c\/strong\u003e made by Auguste Jean.
